Update from Team Zim in Sharm El Sheikh – all team members have now arrived and are together in their bubble at the hotel, with searing temperatures reaching 39 – 41 degrees it is really really hot as you can imagine !!! They have rested and acclimatized and have done early morning training sessions on the bikes, running and swim sessions in the sea. Amongst the preparations for their races on Saturday they have had some “down time” to explore their surroundings and experience the Egyptian culture and hospitality. Today the Africa Triathlon Union Electoral Congress was also held and we were represented by our Vice President Pam Fulton who received an award as Head Coach for the Junior Development Camp held this week.  Rick Fulton was also in attendance in his capacity as Continental Coordinator for the ATU and he was also presented with an award – a great day overall for Triathlon Zimbabwe !!
