Well what can we say – no shut downs, stay-aways or fuel shortages can keep the Triathlon and Aquathlon family away from Mount Pleasant !!!
What an incredible turnout today – thank you all for making the effort to come and participate – a huge welcome to ALL the new members who joined us – particularly all the new Trikidz and Trisports athletes – hope you all enjoyed yourselves and we hope to see you back again at our next event.
As you will be aware the Penhalonga event was schedule to take place this weekend but we had to change the venue to Harare due to the current fuel situation – today’s races were NOT Series events and therefore NO series points are being awarded.
However these WERE Selection Race # 4 for the Junior Sprint and Youth Super-Sprint Categories – the points logs are being verified and will be published hopefully tomorrow.
The Results for all races are attached for your information – times were taken so you can check them out and see how you did – please remember there are no series points for triathlon. The Aquathlon events were fun races and not part of the Inter-Schools Series and again, no series points awarded. The next AQUATHLON event is taking place on Friday 25th January at St Michaels – this will be Series # 5 races for JUNIORS – more event details will be sent out in the next day or so – please keep checking your emails and the website if you can.
The next event at Mount Pleasant will be on Sunday 3rd February – please check the website for more details – we will send emails out with information in due course
MISSING AND LOST PROPERTY
If anyone picked up a Blue and Black GIANT Helmet from the transition area and took it home by mistake please contact me to arrange for collection and return to its rightful owner –
A pair of very smart Asics trainers were handed in to me – if you have lost your running shoes please contact me on 0772 410344 *call or sms only please – give a description to verify they are yours and we can arrange for collection
