Thanks to all of you who came down to Mount Pleasant Pool this morning – what a FANTASTIC turnout for the Aquathlon events – there were over 70 teams combined for the Junior and Senior School Series so the pool area and the roads around Mount Pleasant were teeming with swimmers and runners – well done to all of you and hope you enjoyed your morning.
The Results and Points for the Aquathlon events are currently being verified and will be sent out to the schools and published on the website as soon as possible.
For those who did the triathlon events, please remember that the races today were fun events and not part of our Series so no positions or timings will be published – however, if you would like to know your time please contact me and I can let you know.
The next event on our calendar is next Sunday 27th November – this will be a FULL HOUSE of triathlon races – Trikids, Trisports, Short and Long Minis, Super-sprint, Sprint and Standard distances – these are Series and Selection Races # 4 so points will be awarded. The online registration facility is open from now until 8.00PM on Saturday 26th November so please go to UPCOMING EVENTS and send in your entry.
Thank you all once again for your continued support – it was a brilliant day today and we hope that more schools will come on board and enter the Aquathlon Series (adults can also enter but will not be part of the series or get points)
