2021 EVENTS FINALLY GETTING UNDERWAY @ MOUNT PLEASANT

Hope you have had a good weekend, we are FINALLY getting 2021 underway with SRC and Ministry approval for the resumption of our events as a Low-Risk Sporting activity being given.  Our first event for the year will take place at Mount Pleasant Pool this coming SUNDAY 21ST MARCH –
Events on the programme will include Tri-Tots, Trikidz, Trisport, Sprint, Supersprint, Trifun and Trifit distances – team entries are most welcome for all distances.  There will be no official timing for these races but Positions will be sent out after the events.

  • Entry Fee ZWL 500 per child TT-TK-TP / ZWL 1000 per person all other distances / ZWL 1500 per team all other distances.  ZWL payments to Ecocash 0788 804 508 or transfer to Cabs Acc 1003103898 – send POP to info@zimtri.org cc jasonbenet@gmail.com

  • US$ cash payments accepted on the day

  • Your race number will be allocated and given to you in your confirmation of entry by email

  • SUNDAY 21st – PLEASE ENSURE YOU DO YOUR OWN RACE NUMBER BODY MARKING BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT THE VENUE –

  • For marking please use BLACK INK – LARGE LETTERS that are visible to race officials – on your left arm and right leg/shin/calf.  There will be a Self Service Marking station on site if you forget

  • ALL ATHLETES MUST REPORT TO THE CHECK IN DESK EVEN IF YOU HAVE PRE-PAID YOUR ENTRY FEE

  • TRITOTS/TRIKIDZ/TRISPORTS – only 1 parent per child permitted to give assistance in Registration and Transition Zones  

  • On completion of your event please vacate the venue – no social gathering is permitted

  • NO FACE MASK – NO ENTRY – THIS IS COMPULSORY AND MASKS MUST BE WORN BY EVERYONE, INCLUDING ATHLETES, WHILST ON THE PREMISES. 

  • ATHLETES MAY REMOVE MASKS PRIOR TO START OF YOUR RACE AND ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WEAR THEM WHILE COMPETING

  • STRICTLY LIMITED SPECTATORS within the pool grounds.  Spectator numbers will be strictly controlled by TZ and Security Officials. 

  • Please co operate when asked to complete the Entry Register and have temperature checks at set Control Points.

  • Remember to use the  SAFEGUARD SECURE BAG DROP STATION for storage of your bags whilst racing

Please continue to work with us and abide by all the rules, regulations and guidelines that are in place – ESPECIALLY WEARING OF FACE MASKS – and comply with all the new procedures which should be second nature to all of us by now.
