What a great way to end of the 2022-2023 Season yesterday at Mount Pleasant Pool, thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the fun races that were on the programme and for your patience in the delay in starting – as your safety is always our paramount concern, we could not start the races until the Medical Cover were on site – thank you for your understanding !!
Great fun was had by all and thank you all for staying on for the Season Series Awards and Trophy presentations. Congratulations to all the recipients and well done to everyone on your achievements this season. If you were not able to attend yesterday, please check the attached document to see if you were a recipient of any awards and contact me to make a plan to collect your certificate / trophy. Thank you to Mr Ross O’Donoghue from Valley Irrigation for presenting all the prizes, and to Bratz Basement for the Trikidz and Trisports awards – greatly appreciated and loved by all the lucky winners !!
The team selected to represent Zimbabwe at the Africa Triathlon Championships taking place in Egypt in October this year was also announced and we wish to congratulate the following athletes on their selection –

The 2022-2023 Triathlon season is now officially over but we will be having DUATHLON events during the winter months in the run up to the DUATHLON NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, we will advise dates and venues as soon as they are finalized, so don’t hang up your bikes and running shoes just yet !!
We would like to sincerely thank all of our wonderful sponsors, partners and advertisers who have supported us financially and logistically throughout this season, there have been some difficult times but we always made a plan and got through – thank you to Schweppes Zimbabwe, Cimas iGo, Rooneys, CFAO Motors, Ecocash, Simbisa Brands, National Foods, Evolution Insurance, Valley Irrigation, KDV Bedding, Homestyle Bricks, Ilala Lodge, Bratz Basement, African Sun and Safeguard Zimbabwe – without you we could not host any events.

Lastly – to all our members – athletes of all ages and capabilities – we thank you for your support and look forward to a bigger and better 2023-2024 season.
