Our last events before the Christmas holiday break take place this Sunday 4th December at Mount Pleasant Pool – we will be having a few weeks break and 2017 will kick off with the Hellenic Academy Family Fun Triathlon fundraising event on 15th January 2017.
This weekend is going to be very busy and very exciting – Triathlon events are Series Races # 5 for all, Selection Races # 2 for Supersprint-Quarter distance, Selection Races # 4 for Sprint-Half Distance athletes and Aquathlon events are Series Races # 3 – points awarded across the board !! Hopefully the weather will be kind to us this Sunday but please come prepared just in case.
School Heads of Sport please get your Aquathlon Interschools series team lists in by Friday evening please – thanks to those who have already submitted your teams entries. Please remember that the Short and Long distance Aquathlon events are also open to adults on the understanding that your participation is not part of the Interschools Series and therefore you do not accumulate any points.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL STANDARD and SPRINT-HALF DISTANCE COMPETITORS (Age Group and Junior Selection Races Categories G/H/P/Q) – Please note that you will be starting early at approx. 7.30am and 7.50am respectively. Depending on numbers we would like to start you all out early in the same heat so please be at the pool with sufficient time to do registration and transition formalities. It would be a great help if you pre-register online via the website zimtri./upcoming-events-2/ or email info@zimtri.org or whatsapp me on 0772 410344 by 8.00pm on Saturday 3rd December so that the Start Lists are ready.
