MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to Mikayla Colegrave on her Bronze Medal podium finish at the 2021 Sharm el Sheikh Junior Africa Cup yesterday – a great achievement and we are all so proud of you.
Matt Denslow, who raced in the Elite Men event did not have a great performance due to medical issues but regardless, he gave his best and completed the race. Both Matt and Mikayla will now rest up this week in preparation for the Africa Championships next weekend.
The remaining team members depart tomorrow Monday 7th June for Sharm El Sheikh to meet up with Matt, Mikayla, Maka and Pam and will compete in the U15, U17 and U19 events as well as the Mixed Team Relay events in which we will be fielding 2 teams. Good luck to all our fine young athletes, these Championships will be the debut international events for most of our team – fly our flag high guys – do your best and enjoy the experience.
