Triathlon Zimbabwe are pleased to announce that an ITU LEVEL 1 TECHNICAL OFFICIAL COURSE will be delivered in HARARE on 15/16 DECEMBER 2018.
As with all ITU LEVEL 1 TECHNICAL COURSES, this course will be directly linked to an ITU Sanctioned event, and this will be the 2019 TROUTBECK ATU SPRINT TRIATHLON CUP & ATU TROUTBECK 2019 CROSS-TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS (16 FEBRUARY 2019). This event will serve as the practical application of the course.
The course will be delivered by ITU Facilitator Rick Fulton, and the venue in HARARE will be confirmed directly with all participants in due course.
All applicants have to have had some Triathlon experience and a working knowledge of the Sport and be in good standing with your National Federation.
For ITU Certification to Level 1, applicants are required to attend the 2 day course with a 100% attendance, complete and pass an Open-book Exam (at the end of the course-day 2), and officiate at the Troutbeck event (as an appointed Technical Official). Applicants will be required to officiate at all future local events held by the National Federation.
ITU Certification will be valid from the 1 JANUARY 2019.
