The Executive Board members have already started with meetings and an Induction Seminar was recently held which was incredibly informative and positive.
As per the Constitution, the EB have made the following appointments to various Commissions and we look forward to a productive season ahead. Thank you to the following members who have accepted the respective appointments, their roles are crucial in the “bigger picture” of Triathlon Zimbabwe –
SELECTORS – Dr Austin Jeans – Convener, Mr Wayne Davidson, Mr Craig Summers
SCHOOLS COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE – Mr Todd Meyer
ATHLETES COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE – Miss Laurelle Brown
TECHNICAL COMMISSION – Mr Shaun Shelton, Mrs Tammy Benade
MARKETING & SPONSORSHIP – Mr Rick Fulton, Ms Eve Mudzingwa
Next on the agenda will be the Calendar Meeting and we will keep you informed on developments. With the COVID-19 situation there will be many changes to how we stage our events and a lot of preparation has to be undertaken to ensure that we are fully compliant. We remain as a low risk sporting activity with authority to continue training.
Although Mount Pleasant Pool is closed to the public, we are still proceeding with our annual clean up and sprucing up of the venue – if anyone has any old plant pots or would like to donate cuttings or seedlings from your gardens please let me know, thanks.
