At our Mount Pleasant event on Sunday 13th November the recipients of Triathlon colours (Junior and Youth) were announced and presentation of National Representation and Commendation awards were made to the National Team who represented Zimbabwe at the recently held Africa Triathlon Championships in Morocco. Congratulations to the following athletes who were awarded colours –
Makanaka Mawere, Matipa Mawere and Brooklyn Tippett (Junior) and Anje Van As, Nicole Madya and Tayleigh Taylor (Youth)
Congratulations also to George Ascott, Emma Lidsba, Callum Smith and Rohnan Nicholson who received National Representation and Commendation Certificates – a fine young team who, collectively, did our association and our country proud at Africa Champs – all the best and good luck for 2023 team selection.
Unfortunately Matipa, George, Tayleigh and Brooklyn could not be with us to receive their awards in person on the day but will receive their awards at our next event.
