Updates from Development Officer Pam Fulton who is accompanying our junior athletes Matt Denslow and Andie Kuipers at the Development Camp in Brive France
FRIDAY
Today the French Minister of Sport Lauura Flossel came to Brive to visit us.
This morning we had an easy run session with drills on the track in Brive followed by a fairly intense 3km swim session with some speed work.
Team Zim about to head out on a 70km bike ride with Teams Tunisia, Mauritius, Namibia, Niger and Benin.
I feel there may be a few hills involved.
We were then privileged to be visited by the ITU president Marisol Casado, the Mayor of Brive and Philippe Lescure the President of the French Triathlon Federation.
A big thank you to the ITU and the city of Brive for hosting us.
On Sunday the athletes compete in a sprint triathlon race so today we recced the bike course. This shows a little of course around the lake.
