Just a few days to go until Troutbeck – LOC are leaving early tomorrow for Troutbeck to get everything ready for your arrival – this will be the last communication from home base – please keep checking the website from now for any further updates.
I will be unable to respond to phone calls until lunch time tomorrow – please whatsapp me and I will reply as soon as I can.
In case you have not downloaded the Event Schedule I am attaching it again – please study it carefully so you know where you have to be, when, at what time and what for.
A few final reminders –
ONLINE ENTRIES – LATEST SUBMISSION THURSDAY 14TH FEBRUARY
Start lists have to be prepared for all events and pre-entering is a huge help to us in having the registration lists prepared in advance. If you haven’t entered yet please get on to the website and fill in the form – takes 2 minutes …
we will accept late entries for CROSS-TRIATHLON AND TRIATHLON events until 4.00pm LATEST on Friday 15th February at Troutbeck
Aquathlon, Open Water Swim and Trikidz/Trisports late entries will be accepted at Registration on Saturday 16th – race day – please check the Event Schedule for registration opening and closing times
FUEL PROCUREMENT – ALL THOSE WHO RESPONDED WITH THEIR FUEL REQUIREMENTS
Our fuel tranche will be held at the ZUVA FUEL STATION opposite Montclair Hotel – open 6am to 6pm
They have the LIST OF TRIATHLON FUEL REQUIREMENTS – those who responded and were included by TZ on this list will be given first priority and served with the amount and type of fuel that was requested – Bond / Swipe / Ecocash payments are accepted at the pump
In addition – there is another fuel station just up the road from Troutbeck Inn Resort that will also have fuel available but payment there will be either US$ Cash, Mastercard or Visa or transfer to a Nostro Account
SATURDAY ARRIVALS FOR THOSE STAYING OFF-SITE – AQUATHLON / OPEN WATER SWIM COMPETITORS
Please be cognisant of the fact that races will be starting at 0700 on 16th February and there will be cyclists and runners on the road. There will be LIMITED access to the hotel entrance and parking of vehicles and buses must be planned for arrival at the venue between the hours of 0930 and 1030 hrs – marshals will direct you to the parking areas. Come early and experience the excitement of watching a fantastic international event and support our Elite and Juniors in the African Cup and Junior African Cup events
EVENING FUNCTION – SATURDAY 16TH FEBRUARY
Tickets are available for the evening function – this is open to anyone who wishes to join us – tickets are US$ 30 cash or $ 90 per head payable to the TZ ecocash number 0784 519937 – if you would like to get tickets please let me know – only 300 tickets are available so please let me know a.s.a.p. to reserve yours.
