Our team of 4 athletes and 2 coaches departed Harare in the early hours of the morning on Monday 11th March to travel to ACCRA, GHANA to compete in the AFRICA GAMES – Andie Kuipers (Captain) and Lorna Doorman will be competing in the ELITE WOMEN’S event and ROHNAN NICHOLSON and CALLUM SMITH will be competing in the ELITE MEN’S event and all 4 athletes will take part in the MIXED TEAM RELAY event as well. Coaches PAMELA FULTON and MARTIN MBOFANA have accompanied the team. They have arrived safely in Ghana and have already begun their pre-event training and familiarising themselves with the courses and athlete’s village.
