Triathlon Zimbabwe held an Introduction to Officiating course for new volunteers on Saturday morning, the 12th of September.
The course is for potential National Federation Technical Officials who were introduced to the basic rules of the sport with an emphasis on safety and fairness.
These new recruits will assist at local triathlon events at the same time as being mentored by certified ITU Technical Officials.
The intention will be for them to graduate also to the ITU certification system in time as Triathlon Zimbabwe continues to ensure that their events are managed at the highest level and that there is a continuous inflow of new volunteers to the sport.
