Team Zimbabwe departed Harare last week for Gqeberha (PE) South Africa – accompanied by National Coach Pam Fulton, Team Manager Chio Chasakara and parents – the team members being CALLUM SMITH, STANLEY CHASAKARA, OLIVIA BEAMISH, MATTHEW HILDEBRAND, ETHAN DONZVA & ZANDER BOTHA who met up with fellow team-mates RACHEL O’DONOGHUE and ANDIE KUIPERS.
What a weekend it turned out to be for Team Zimbabwe at the Africa Triathlon Championships – stunning performances by all of our athletes – the hard work over the past season combined with true grit and sheer determination culminated in outstanding racing by all of our athletes and richly rewarded with Gold and Silver Medals !!!
Congratulations to ANDIE KUIPERS who was crowned the 2025 U23 Elite Women Africa Champion, to ZANDER BOTHA the new U15 Youth Boys Africa Champion winning Gold, to RACHEL O’DONOGHUE who scooped the Silver in the U15 Youth Girls AND our incredible Mixed Team comprising of CALLUM SMITH, STANLEY CHASAKARA, RACHEL O’DONOGHUE and OLIVIA BEAMISH being awarded a SILVER MEDAL in the Mixed Team Relay Event
