As you may know, World Triathlon launched their rebranding on 1 October 2020 and over the past few months Triathlon Zimbabwe undertook a rebranding exercise of our own.
A brief was submitted to our extremely talented designer who did an incredible job and presented the Board and the Marketing Officer with several design options. After many hours of discussion and deliberation a final choice was selected and we are really excited to announce that the “New Look Triathlon Zimbabwe Logo” will be launched imminently.
To give you a sneaky clue on the new logo – the new graphics are simple, clean and timeless with the retention of our existing typefaces, colours and the use of our National Emblem which will ensure continuity and the existing goodwill and heritage that the current logo enjoys.
To align with the new World Triathlon Brand we removed the ITU “rings” which must be completed by 1st January 2022, and we replaced the orange “O” with the new World Triathlon circle graphic which has been adjusted with a “personal touch” and use of our national colours. The circle graphic depicts the three disciplines of triathlon – swim, bike and run as well as the multisport derivatives of aquathlon and duathlon
The new branding will be phased in over the next few months and will be launched initially on all our new season literature, website and social media platforms, frontline media and logistical items, uniforms and our brand guideline.
