A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who came down to Mount Pleasant Pool this morning for the PINK DAY TRIATHLON in support of Breast Cancer Awareness – including proceeds from the Raffle we managed to raise just over $ 2000 for this extremely worthy cause – THANK YOU for your generous support. We hope that you had as much fun as we did and that all of you who were new to triathlon will come back again and join us for the rest of our season – please follow the link to UPCOMING EVENTS for details.
Our sincere thanks go to Generation Health for their sponsorship of this event – there were over 255 participants today – must be a new record !! Thanks also go to Debi Jeans and her team for all their input, as well as to Bratz Basement for supplying the bright pink sunblock that almost everyone had obligingly covered your cheeks with today. Thanks also to Schweppes Still Water for the much needed bottled water and to Bokomo Weetbix for the cereals and chocolate treats for the finish table – your support is sincerely appreciated.
Our next event will be on 25th October 2015 at Mount Pleasant Pool – this is a SELECTION EVENT for the Supersprint and Sprint Distance competitors – please refer to the website for Selection Criteria information. A full house of events is on the programme – Trikidz, Trisports, Short and Long Minis, Standard, Supersprint and Sprint races – pre-registration online is already now open.
