What a FANTASTIC morning we had at Mount Pleasant Pool last Sunday !!! The annual PINK TRIATHLON and SHAVE-A-THON were a great success thanks to you.
On behalf of all of us at Triathlon Zimbabwe we would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting this event, we had a massive 271 competitors ranging through the ages – the youngest ever triathlete in the making was Miss Mayah Moss aged 22 months who did the Trikidz course !!!! As this was a Fundraiser, we did not record official times or placings.
In support of their friend, “Team Lulu” arrived en masse and entered teams in all the races – such a fantastic effort from all these ladies, gents, boys and girls !! After the races many went along to the Shave-a-thon tent to give even more support !!!
From your participation, we are thrilled to announce that a whopping $1830 was raised and EVERY cent goes to Breast Cancer Awareness so WELL DONE !!
