Hope this finds you all well and healthy and keeping positive in these unsettling times. We are hoping to get our season started on 20th September with our first event at Mount Pleasant but are still waiting for our SRC approval. We have had very successful pre-season training events at Donnybrook and the Newcomers Morning last weekend and are confident that we will get the necessary approvals going forward.
Once we get our event approval for 20th September I will send out a detailed email on the procedures for Online Registration, race day check in times, start times etc.
Behind the scenes there has been a lot of work going on with the Covid Prevention and Precautionary measures that have to be put in place before we can resume, this has been a costly exercise as can be appreciated. As a non-profit making organisation we rely on your Membership Fees being paid timeously in order to cover these expenses and to this end, we appeal once again to all members to make payment of membership fees as soon as possible. Thank you to those who have already paid – confirmation of receipt of payments will be sent out shortly. Please refer to the Membership and Entry Fees document to remind yourself of the fees.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ECOCASH NUMBER PREVIOUSLY USED 0784 519937 IS NOW OBSOLETE – PLEASE DELETE THIS NUMBER FROM YOUR CONTACTS FOR TRIATHLON ZIMBABWE. We have applied for a dedicated TZ Ecocash number which is still pending so in the meantime please make any Ecocash payments to number 0788 804508 (Recipient Kelly Bauer Bennett)
There have been some amendments to the 2020-2021 PROPOSED Season Calendar of Events that are pending finalisation and final calendar will be posted shortly. Unfortunately we cannot include AQUATHLON INTERSCHOOLS SERIES at the moment but as soon as we know what the position with schools re-opening etc. we will include those events
