St Johns Preparatory School were the hosts for an inter-schools invitational Triathlon event on Friday 25th November – many thanks to Mrs Claire Nicholson and all the staff at the Prep School for facilitating the event – it was a fantastic afternoon and great fun had by all. Girls and boys from Springvale House, Hellenic, St Michaels and St Johns arrived en masse, great excitement particularly amongst the younger age groups – over 100 participants registered – a brilliant effort and great support.
Thanks to Pamela Fulton and Coaches Martin Mbofana and Leigh-Anne Young for their assistance at the event, Coach Martin led the way around the course both on his bike and running trying to keep ahead of the leading athlete !!
Congratulations to each and every athlete who participated – and to the top 3 athletes from each age group who received lovely certificates – it is not always where you place in a race that matters – it is whether you had FUN and enjoyed yourself that is important.
