Triathlon Zimbabwe were recently privileged to be visited by Yara Hanssen at our event at Mount Pleasant pool. Yara is the Young Ambassador for the next Zimbabwean Youth Olympic Team who will compete this October at the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in Buenos Aires Argentina. Yara, being a phenomenal athlete herself, competed for Equestrian at the 2010 YOG.
Yara came to give valuable advice and encouragement to our 4 athletes who are trying to qualify for these Games. Our athletes are Marcel Paulser, Matthew Denslow, Mikayla Colegrave and Andie Kuipers.
