Just a short update – we are now in the final stretch before THE BIG ONE and planning, organizing and finalizing all the logistics for Troutbeck are almost complete – the Local Organizing Committee, Technical Officials and Support Staff look forward to welcoming you to the most stunning venue at Troutbeck Inn Resort – this will be our 17th year at Troutbeck and we aim to make it the biggest and best event of the year 😊

With only 3 WEEKS TO GO until Race Day – a gentle reminder that all LOCAL ENTRIES CLOSE ON 28TH FEBRUARY FOR THE 2025 BONAQUA AFRICA TRIATHLON CUP & MULTISPORT FESTIVAL –

There are so many events to choose from and there is something for everyone to participate in – if you don’t have a bike you could do the Aquathlon or the Trail Run – if you aren’t keen on swimming you can do Duathlon or the MTB events, there are even Youth Mini Duathlon and Triathlon events for the youngsters aged 8 – 12 – if you just like swimming enter the Open Water Swim event offering 750m, 1500m, 3000m and 5000m distances as well as a 4x500m Team Relay. You can enter any of the events as an individual or as part of a team and “share the load” – school teams are most welcome !! The Zimbabwe Triathlon National Championships will be held too – who will be the 2025 Champions ???
For those who have already registered – THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND THANKS TO THOSE WHO HAVE PAID – if you have not paid your Entry Fee yet you can come down to Mount Pleasant Pool tomorrow Sunday 16th February for cash payments or you can pay by bank transfer or ecocash to the account numbers given in your Receipt of Entry email
We have international athletes coming from all over the world – Austria, America, Japan, The Netherlands, France, Namibia, South Africa, Morocco, Mauritius, Germany, Finland – the Start Lists for the Africa Triathlon Cup and Junior Africa Triathlon Cup have been published on the World Triathlon event pages https://triathlon.org/events/2025-africa-triathlon-cup-troutbeck and https://triathlon.org/events/2025-africa-triathlon-junior-cup-troutbeck – entries are still pending so there is going to be a fantastic line up and some fast and furious racing !!
